Tactical Rifles.net, (Tactical Rifles) builds upon the Remington 700, and 700 platforms to deliver unbeatable precision.

The  Tactical Rifles Chimera™ action is specifically designed for tactical use.  It is highly specialized and is precision machined from stainless steel.  It’s action screws are located in the same position as the Remington  700 series actions, so the interchangeability of components exists.  The bolts are precision ground to exact tolerances and then given a black oxide coating.  The “Chimera is available in short action and long action.  The Magnum versions utilize the larger magnum bolt faces.  The .338 Magnum Chimera is specialized specifically for the .338 Lapua Magnum cartridge.  It is longer in diameter and longer than the Chimera Long Action Magnum.    We believe that is needed to accommodate the .750 diameter bolt that we feel is necessary for this cartridge.  The precision machined bolt runs smoothly on the EDM machined receiver rails.  Our Chimera extractor is huge and ensures extremely positive extraction.  Our Tactical Rifles all use match chambers with minimum SAAMI spec and zero headspace.  While these tolerances are essential for extreme precision, it is also essential to give 100% perfect funtionability.  By using a deliberately overbuilt extractor we ensure positive functionality from even the hottest of match chambers in the worst of conditions.
